This year, 9 crore farmer families received Rs 2,000 each in their bank accounts through the PM Kisan Yojana.

Similarly, the Indian Government introduced a Farmer’s Investment Support Scheme to provide financial aid to farmers across the country. The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was implemented on December 1st, 2018. According to the Government’s initial plan, this scheme will receive an annual allocation of Rs. 75,000 crore.
